Combine the name of any particular state, language or region with that of any tribal (Adivasi) community.
Add keywords of special interest (music, poetry, dance just as health, sacred grove and biodiversity); learn about the rights of Scheduled Tribes such as the “Forest Rights Act” (FRA); and the United Nations “Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples”, “Universal Declaration of Human Rights”, “women’s rights”, or “children’s right to education”.
Ask a question that includes “tribal” or “Adivasi”, for instance: “Adivasi way of life better?” (or “tribal way of life worse?”)
Specify any particular issue or news item (biodiversity, bonded labour and human trafficking, climate change, ecology, economic development, ethnobotany, ethnomedicine, global warming, hunter-gatherers in a particular region or state, prevention of rural poverty, water access).
For official figures include “scheduled tribe ST” along with a union state or region: e.g. “Chhattisgarh ST community”, “Himalayan tribe”, “Scheduled tribe Tamil Nadu census”, “ST Kerala census”, “Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group Jharkhand”, “PVTG Rajasthan”, “Adivasi ST Kerala”, “Adibasi ST West Bengal” etc.

Global intelligentsia will savour the taste of Indian tribal literature, culture, rituals and the tribal way of life in digital form at the ethnographic museum of University of Zurich, Switzerland.
Ganesh Murmu, a JRF scholar and Ethnologist, Tribal and Regional Language Department, Ranchi University has been invited by the Zurich University to participate in a two-week (between 31st August- 15 September) digital global exhibition named ‘500 Tribes, 1,000 Arrows and Bows’ that would unveil the tribal school of life to global audiences.
The exhibition will feature audio-visual and pictorial explanation of tribal way of life. […]
They have coordinated efforts with many Indian ethnologists from Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha and other State where tribal population is found. […]
“Murmu has been coordinating with global researchers who research on indigenous language, literature and cultures. He had worked on various foreign research projects including Indo-Japan projects, Indo-German projects. […]
Murmu has prepared documentary on tribal way of life, their traditions, and their belief in Santhali language in electronic form. He has also prepared the script for the same.
Earlier in 2010, Murmu was also involved in discovering a hidden tribal language called ‘Koro’ in Arunachal Pradesh with National geographic fellow Gregory Anderson. On last ‘World’s Indigenous Day, August 9’, he was felicitated by an NGO for his contributions to tribal culture, language and literature.
