Since its inception, ANWESHA has been involved in projects imparting socio-economic benefits to the needy section of the society. A team of young, dynamic and hardworking group of professionals/activists make it possible to reach the poor people in the inaccessible regions and involve them in developmental activities that would benefit them and their region.

It strives to achieve the target goal through product diversification, artisan entrepreneurship and development of fair markets.

ANWESHA, an anthropologist’s plan to uplift the rural/tribal people with arts and crafts; providing the required launch pad for sustainable livelihood in the impoverished tribal area. So far, it has already activated 1271 primary crafts producers and provided sustainable livelihood support to more than to 5000 people, through out the state round, the year through various programmes of alternative income generation. Goal

ANWESHA believes the dawn of another renaissance of Arts and Crafts in the state, where the Artisans flower fully without any outside support.

Last but not the least, is that ANWESHA believes in a Pro-Bono format of tribal life, by helping them evolved a tension free socio-economic existence, on a durable foundation of sustainable livelihood.
