[…] artists, while sticking to their traditional styles, have started incorporating contemporary themes in their paintings. Worthwhile examples are Manisha Jha, a Madhubani painter and Mayank Shyam, a Gond artist and son of the renowned sandalwood folk craftsperson Jangarh Singh Shyam.

Keeping this in mind, Arts of the Earth organised various exhibitions such as Santhal scrolls and Jadu Pats from Bengal,Kalamkari from Andhra Pradesh, Pinguli from Maharashtra, Murals from Kerala, Pichwais from Rajasthan, folk miniatures from Rajasthan, Phad paintings from Rajasthan, Madhubani from Bihar, Warli from Maharashtra, Patachitras from Orissa, Cheriyal paintings from Andhra Pradesh, Saura paintings from Orissa , Kalighat paintings from Bengal and Gond paintings to name a few.
